Ignacio Matias Spallatti also known as Ecko was born on June 7, 1999 at La Matanza, Buenos Aires. Listening to Calle 13’s albums at just 8 years old sparked his interest in music and his admiration for rapper Eminem moved him to pursue a career in music.At just 15 years old, Ecko began his career in different freestyle competitions like “El Quinto Escalon” and the “Redbull Batalla de Gallos”. Today he is one of the leaders of the Latin Trap movement in Argentina and Latin America, with early singles such as Disputa and Dealer de Skilles being heard all over his native country. In 2017 his song Dorado hit record numbers and became a summer anthem, establishing him as a pioneer in the Argentinian Latin Trap movement at only 19 years old.With his unique style rapping over any beat with his unmistakable and polyrhythmic flow, he continues to generate trends on all platforms. His versatile style has led to his millions of followers and views and top the Billboard charts in Argentina. With his debut album Young Golden and his newly released music, he continues to be one of the strong pillars of the urban movement in Argentina and throughout South America.
